my dad just has zero faith in me whatsoever. he wont let me wrench on a thing because he fears me breaking it.
I'm almost the opposite. My dad is NOT allowed to touch my cars. The old fart took my car to breakfast and put regular unleaded in teh SRT4. I wanna smack him.

well my dad always reminds me by saying "is my car so i can do whatever the hell i want to with it and you wont have a damn thing to do about it."

Mine stays at the house. If he's there, he rushes me and makes me do stuff half-arsed. I don't put up with it. He is cheap and doesn't give a crap about cars and taking care of them. We get in some pretty big fights over it.

my dad has been trying to get his garage spot back by having me hurry on the stang's rebuild. It hasnt happened yet, been there for over year now lol. He helps when I actually need him to, other wise he stays out of the way.
Have fun with the stang while you got it, you never know after something messes up. your dad "might" start to listen when you think something is wrong.
I didnt realize the mach wasnt yours though, best to follow dads orders then. Its not cool having your car yanked from you at an early age.

I almost killed him when I found out that not only did he drive my SRT4 without asking to breakfast this morning, he also put in regular unleaded gas in it. The reason he had to take it is even better. The headlights in his 01 F250 don't work from where he hit a deer 4 months ago, and the 86 Dually he has needs a new bright bulb and he left when it was still dark. I should go take a picture of how absolutely filthy his truck is. The wheels won't shine anymore.

Just trying to help, not instigate something nor imply you should bust down the door lol. Just casually move your away. As much as it sucks, pick up something you really like, and be prepared financially, give him the mach back and you'll be on your way

you know ive actually thought about telling him to keep the mach. he loves that car but i dont know why he's not worried about random noises. besides the more i look at yalls cars the more i love the look of sn95s......
