Hello,

Quick question for you guys:

I'm redoing the suspension on my Cobra in a few days time.

My plans are:

  • New Bilstein Struts
New Energy Suspension ball joint dust boots/grease
    New sway bar endlinks
Removal of upper/lower spring ISO's from the front end
New set of Falken front tires

I also have a set of 4 bolt Steeda CC plates laying around and I feel like installing them and getting the car aligned right after.

Will these chunky CC plates fit with the stock strut tower brace that comes with the 96 Cobra?

Thanks for the replies in advance!

i dont see why they wouldnt. as long as you ordered the plates for your correct year and model. the only thing you will have to do is drill out another hole since its a four bolt. really easy to do if you follow the instructions. just installed my MM plates and it was a breeze. good luck

cool. Just wondering because the plates look pretty damn chunky. And the STB might look like it gets in the way. I don't want to ditch the STB.

I guess I'll just try to install it and take pics in the process.
