as of right now i'm running the stock mach460 system with a Pioneer headunit. not sure on the exact model, but it's got the OEL display, plays mp3's and wma's, and is something like 22watts x 4. future plans include a powered bass tube and a carputer w/ 7" vga touchscreen (to run gps, divx, mp3, emulators, apps, etc).
right now I got a motorized alpine deck 60x4, with all alpine s type speakers and a sony 12" sub with some shitty amp. after I get my motor done I will replace all speakers with new ones and put a 12 S type and matching amp
I have a JVC head unit, don't remember the model number. But it's a 45x4 MP3 deck, and I really like it. I have a SONY 1000w amp powering a Rockford Fosgate 12x sub. The SONY amp is okay, my RF 1000w amp was a lot better, it even had a remote bass control knob, but it got fried. All the interior speakers are still stock.
Alpine motorized deck
Focal 6.5 Polykevlar K2 Component Set
JL Audio 12W3 Sub in custom box mounted in spare tire well
Concept CC502 Amplifier (powers components)
Crossfire TEK250.2 (powers sub)
Having just gotten the car, I only have a Pioneer Premier deck in it. I dont want anything too crazy in this car but I want a nice balanced SQ based setup. I was thinking of maybe just adding a single 12" Type R in a custom sealed enclosure powered by a Alpine V-12 Monoblock amp. Im not sure what the stock mach 460 sounds like with the bass dropped out of the speakers a bit but I may end up adding a set of components as well as an Alpine 2 or 4 channel amp.
The last mustang I had was running 2 10" Infinity Kappa Perfects powered first by a 1600 watt Sony amp (basically given to me) in a custom slot ported box, with Type S speakers, and a Alpine 9826 deck. I then got a deal on a full Diesel setup (6.5" component sets, 1800 watt amp, (2) 12" subs etc) and I also wasnt happy so I sold those off as well. Nothing too special but I dont have a show car or anything. I just want something that sounds awesome.
