Stripping powder coat off rims

Ok so I'm in the process of destroying my cobra r rims, I have one wheel stripped but it was a pain in the ass. Anyone have any products that strip well. I used zip strip by the way.

Though I have no experience with it, I've always read aircraft paint stripper works wonders.

I have used a product called citristrip on powder with ok results. ITs not super fast but you also have NO worries about leaving it on too long and going to far, or with fumes. I would put on a thick coat and let it sit over night and the majority of what I needed came off with a wire brush and the hose the next morning. You can find this in the paint section of wallmart or most stores.

Ive stipped tons of powder with all different strippers and I now stick with soy gel to get the job done.

If you use Aircraft Stripper, don't skimp on it. You're going to go through a ton of it but the more you use the less work you have to do.

it all comes down to if you have access to an area where fumes and the messy resedue will not be an issue, if you have or will get the safety gear to do it right and how much time you have.

Thanks guys. Yeah after the first wheel was stripped I was in full regret mode and went to buy another wheel and I couldn't find another 18x10 from OE so I had to carry on lol. I'm pretty sure I have the only set of polished deep dish cobra r's
