summit seats or 2000 gt seats?

summits for sure. new edge model seats are junk. they dont have any support they are just flat on the bottom portion. You slide around everywhere. hahah

I just bought some 01's and couldn't agree more.

These are New Edge V6 seats, completely different than any GT,Cobra,Bullit, Mach

mine are fx tuner, exact same as summit but real leather. i just made my own seat brackets and used the sliders that came with the seats. i tried using stock brackets and yes they will work but set the seat up way too high for my taste.

Ive heard, but never witnessed, summit seats hit the door.
I have Corbeau CR1s, and love em. Theyre extremely comfortable and you're not going anywhere in that seat

there are several brands of the seats that are the same. and my first set were the exact same as the summits. had a problem with them and got the all leather fx tuner.

how long have you had them?
How is the wear and tear on the side bolster area, where the stock seats failand wear so bad

Mine have been holding up great now for about 5 months. No rips/tears but the only thing that sux is that if you get anything in the preforated pleather bolster pads its a b*tch to get out.

I also own a 99 cobra and the seats are just as flat as those. On the other hand Mach/bullitt/03-04 Cobras are completely different. Those actually offer support.

01 Cobra seats are also damn supportive, I believe they're the same as Mach seats and the later Cobras. 99 Cobras received the same seats as 99 GTs.

My dark charcoal GT seats are not flat like the picture above, they hold me in pretty nice. My girl gets tossed around like a rag doll but she only weighs 115lbs. She likes the corbeaus in the truck better because there's 5 point harnesses on those.

I'm with Ivan, my leather new edge seats are defiantly not as flat as those ones pictured, and not as wide either. I'll take some pics tomorrow before work.
