swapping 96 to 04 dash center stack

Is this possible ? From the looks of it it should just pull out and the newer style go right back in . Reason for me swapping is to run the SOS gauge panel , I have no radio or ac/heater so that doesn't matter if it will swap or not .

i beleive Lrall did this swap. but im not 100% sure.

Will do buddy I will have quite a few over this year hopefully . I am putting either a built 04 cobra motor into my 96 cobra ( already bought ) or selling it and putting a 3v 08 gt motor <-- my knowledge base , built aode ( already bought ) , SRA swap ( done ) , return fuel system , etc. This is basiclly my weekend tinker toy/track car being I am probably selling my 08 . I used to race the 08 ( built motor , turbo , etc. ) but decided to do something a little different this go round .
