Well, I'm a mod motor guy at heart.. But a 93 lx caught my attention today at school... Well, basically the chick driving it really.. :hammer:

So I had to spark up a conversation, but anyways, after talking with her.. I've thought about buying the car from her..

It's an auto with the five-oh motor.. Just wanna learn a couple more things about the car before I go look at it some more indepth..

Such as what size rear end is in it.. Hopefully an 8.8, because don't some earlier foxes have 7.5" in them??

you do not want an auto. You should have just asked her out. It should have an 8.8 in it.

Well, it's going to slowly be my build up and be a weekend car for me.. I truly don't want an auto, I love manuals, but eh, I can live with it..

definetely should have an 8.8 in it, as far as the tranny you can live with it for a little bit rebuilding them is not to expensive, you can always upgrade to built version auto. t-5's are pretty weak as well so either way you would run into the wall sometime as far as needing an upgrade. if the price is right and the car is clean and mostly un molested id go for it. especially if its going to be a project car, anways goodluck O0

but youll end up spending the same to rebuild a t-5 unless you just keep buying used ones in which case you could do the same with an aod, also performance manuals are also expensive, my point was less the money and more if your going to replace it anyways because your building the car then it hardly matters thats all. but yes 1200 is not cheap so your right there.

Its just an aode will not handle any power.

Well, my plan is, if it breaks, then it's time to upgrade.. I really won't mind the auto, like I said, it'll probably stay pretty stock for awhile... Being in college, and broke as that..

yup.. I plan on doing a couple things here and there... Just really want to pick a 5.0 up and see what I can do with it... I mean the 96 is nice and all, but what's wrong with having 2 mustangs?? NOTHING..

just my .02 but ya... it will come with an 8.8...and like veryone else said...the auto thing is not that hard to swap to a manual if you wanted to down the road.... and the aod will hold more than a stock t-5 (Ask me how I know O0) other than that 1200 is not that bad of a price if the car is clean...what color...and what color interior... is there any blow by?... Does it have A/C?... just make sure you are not going to buy it then have to dump tons of cash to get it to run right or the way you like it... and then once you graduate collage buy your self a turbokit...cause turbo mustang are the shiz nit!!
