i have a problem with my 95 gt! the temp guauge just shot all the way past hot when only being run for 10 mins. as soon as this happened, my fuel guage wen the opposite way towards empty side while i still had 3/4 full. i disconnected it and the temp gauge goes back to cold side and fuel gauge reads correct. i reconnect it, same thing-back past hot. just installed new temp switch(driver side) and still doing the same thing. thanks guys.

Ive had the same problem on mine. The temp guage just lays down. But after like a half our drive it turns on and starts reading. Ive replaced the sending unit, with no improvment. Like Javi said aftermarket gauge would be the best/easiest solution. Make sure nothing is loose or anything like that first.

yes thats exactly what it does. and that was my next try-sending unit. not familiar with sending unit and what i am exactly going to try and replace. if you could help me, that would be great. so if i remove the cluster, there will be a connector to the gauge on the back of cluster? thanks guys!

I have replaced both of these plugs. Still didnt help. Try checking behind the guage first. If that doesnt work replace these two plugs. (they are cheap) let us know if it works, but if not its time for a new gauge.

behind the guage cluster you have 2 big multi pin plugs. you'll need a torx bit to remove the cluster, and a phillips for the bezel
