Anyone here done a termy interior swap? So far I am switching out the seats and center console, is there anything else I should look at before going ahead with the plan? I know I have to paint the console to match my black interior, but I don't think there is anymore work involved than that(I already know about splicing seat wires).

I was going to do suspension first, but due to the first few weeks the car will be out of storage, the roads are FILLED with pot holes.

Are you doing a complete 03-04 interior swap including the instrument cluster? if so i think that will be your biggest hurdle right there. look up wldstang on here (i think) and on corral, he did a complete terminator swap on his 94 i know for a fact hes got pics and a nice write up on what you need to do.

No, dash is good. I was wondering about the radio/climate control bezel area. Is it worth it to upgrade that too?

I wouldn't bother with it. In fact, I like the looks of mine better than I do my friend with a 03 V6. The dual radios look weird to me. The only other thing I'd do it blue LED gauges and a/c if you haven't already. Looks so nice at night..

Blue lights? Sounds cool, how hard is it? I need billet switches/knobs for various controls as well as the billet shifter bezel. Is a billet e-brake really worth it? I think it would get cold in the last months I drive it(put it away mid-november when snow flys, usually -15 celsuis then).

Screw the billet stuff. That's not how I roll. lmao

The LED Gauges look awesome. I ahve a shittttyyyyyyyyyyyyy whiteface so they dont look good unless its pitch black out, but for cheap, they're great. All you have to do is pull the gauges out and change the bulb, takes maybe 30mins? Then the A/C aren't much harder... there's a write-up in the how-to that TxCobra wrote up a long time ago.

Although billet isn't my style, it can look good in moderation. Ebrake would be a little much

Seats and center console, LEDs, and you're misc billet pieces = Badass interior.

I don't know about the diffrence in the seats, but if the 03-04s are like the 01 Cobras, you're gonna shit yourself when you get in them.

Rice slayer just FYI,

on the center console you might need to do a custom wiring, im in the middle of the swap from my 94 interior to the 04 and the wiring harness of 94 is very different, i have the 98 which almost a like the 01-04, but for one single plug.

ill have pics of the swap once i get it done hopefully this weekend if it doenst snow, again.

I heard about that, how different? Could wire splicing be a good option?

i think all i have to do to use one of the plugs out of the old harness and wire it, thats it.

i didnt have much time to think about it, but, im using the 98 center console harness which is different than the 94.

i will take pics of the process.

I'm sure you could get away with splicing, even though I have no idea.

I have 10 charcoal/ grey suede seats, and they match pretty well in my grey/black interior. Now that I've added my FR500 steering wheel, which is sort of a mix between charcoal and black to match both, it's kind of all pulled together.

I have the charcoal gray seats front and back, suede in the center, man I love those seats. Only pain would be trying to keep suede clean, but I wouldn't go back to anything else!

ThatKids- what color interior do you have? I have the greyblack combo interior and my seats are charcoal with grey suede and they match up pretty darn good IMO.
