Fcuk 5.0's...  There I said it.  Modulars are better in every way except initial bolt on gains and the fact that the firing order makes a 5.0 sound like sex when cammed.  That's it...

I kinda think my cam sound like sex also ... do u? .. and its a mod motor!!!!!

I just wish these heads werent that expensive , 2k to just throw for heads damn no thank u lol ill stay with my stock ported/polish heads woot woot !!!

the big named PI porters are going to charge you more than TFS will. for less performance.

Most stage II PI's are now costing in the same ballpark as these heads.

you can pay $2k on PI's and make 320rwhp NA, or you can spend $2k on the TFS and their test car is making 370rwhp.

these things outflow stock 4 valve heads.

forged rods and pistons are cheaper than aftermarket blocks. good luck picking up the pieces when you try to hang with the boosted 4.6l's "on a budget"

not at all. its just that this thread was not started as a 5.0 vs 4.6l thread nor should it become one. seriously, whats the point to your postings?

Let the 4.6l guys weigh on if this head is worth it to them. we've been waiting for a price, and we now have one.

if you want to go back to your roots, you're welcome to... your comments ("thank god i own a 5.0") indicating hostility to the 4.6 is uncalled for... we have a product here that's interesting to us... it seems as though you think the cost is too much? that's fine, don't own a 4.6... want to go on about why you love your 5.0 so much more than the 4.6 take it elsewhere

I love how everyone bitches about the price, most of the bitchers, even if they were half the damn price, still wouldn't buy them. "But how come I can't get these heads for 99.95 and have them come with a little Trickflow man in the box who will put them on for me?"

For 2k you get an off the shelf, brand spanking new (as in no warpage, no scored up cam journals, no worn out valve guides) that outflow anyones ricer stage heads (including mine) with a brand new valvetrain capcable of cams up to .600 of lift and 7k rpm....

Not good enough for you? Then STFU and stay slow, because you gotta pay to play, and there's always someone who will come along and say "oh yeah, well with a _____ I can find part's all day long that are super awesome, and I only have to pay for them with Skittles, thus, making me faster, cheaper, easier, and more of a man."

Everyone want's a fucking miracle, I for one am not going to stand around and blow sunshine up your ass and rainbows in your face, if you want to bolt a fucking kazoo in your intake tract for a 500 rwhp gain, if that's the world you live in, then I can't help you.
