They don't call it the "xscream" for nothing! On a side note, I may put my 2.5 tips on to see if I can live with that for a while.

I've found my exhaust also boring at times. Its just so damn loud if I go over half throttle at any rpm I feel like I am bringing attention to my car. Which I don't want all the time. Especially when I'm driving past a po po. I've read that a xpipe is better for a straight thru muffler so I went with a magnaflow catted xpipe. Hopefully it makes the car more liveable.

Dan, I feel you on the po pos man!! Luckily, I have a weak car so, it doesn't draw a lot of attention. Just sounds pissed off and hungry for premium unleaded.

haha. Man I'm like triple screwed. I have a red mustang with chrome rims and a loud exhaust. Knock on wood I haven't been pulled over yet with it. I actually would prefer a white stang that way I don't have to clean it so much and draw attention to myself so much.

Part of the reason I bought a white one. Adds to the sleeper effect. Now about horsepower....

I think i asked you about a dr. gas X a while ago, I just got some long tubes so i may have to take you up on that offer soon. Not sure I like the sound of "droney type" sound though...

Yeah you did... offer still stands.
The drone will go away a little with the LTs. But if the pipe is one that has a really deep sound there is only so much you can do. The X pipe will raise the pitch a little and with LTs you will sometimes forget you dont have any convertors on the car. I love the setup on my GT...
