You COULD install a switch BUT you run the risk of forgetting!! There is a fan cycling switch/relay you can replace.


Now, play devils advocate...


I installed an electric fan in my foxbody. Its controlled by an adjustable temperature switch (its comes on at a certain temperature even of the switch is off) and a 25 amp switch. I also wired in an indicator light to ensure I knew it was running or not.

Just came back to NYC from a bike trip to Montreal..WOOHOO....Now car of course still runs hot. Im going to try changing the pump. I cant monitor fuel pressure while driving so its a possibility.. Everything else I did...EGR may be bad....Dont know. I did notice my check engine light came on today. Ill have to look into that. Still looking for a set of headers and Ill have everythng I need just about

it's stupid hot in Chicago today and with my a/c running my coolant is about 210, it will spike for sure if i turn it off. i'm thinking either a new switch for the fan or maybe upgrade the fan all together

210 really isnt hot with AC on. A mark viii fan is a great upgrade if you plan on doing so..me I know I have an issue somewhere and its not the fan!

I'd get an aftermarket radiator if I knew a good brand that worked without being $500-$700.

And lol at you guys whining about 100 degree weather.

Frankily I love the weather this heat is the shit. So long as the mustang can still be out in it. Do u really think an aftermatket radiator is needed? I have a CAI flow master msd ignitian and im gonna run lt headers maybe and h/c/I in a few years
