oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Sorry I see now. I have been seeing those online for a while now and wanted to try them when I came across them at a large hot rod swap meet we have locally(largest in the midwest). It is high temp shrink wrap with a ring of solder in the middle and some glue on the ends. So you put it on one wire, inline twist them together and then slide the connector down on splice. When you take a heat gun you can see the solder melt into the wires to make the connection as the heatshrink gets smaller and the glue seals the ends. I can say from the install side that they were super easy, now if they last that is the real question. A quick online search for "heat shrink solder connectors" came up with a bunch of options.

I think/hope my shoulder has finally healed enough to be able to do the work that I needed to do. I had a project this weekend that should have caused a problem if it was still injured but I didn't even think about it till the next day. Perfect time as the weather is beautiful now... I cut a piece of CF to move the ECU to the airbag location for a little easier access. I just need to rerun some wires to it and I think I have located them all so fingers crossed that I didn't miss anything. I hooked up one of the batteries to a trickle charge and it started at %70 so it might take a little while.
