well guys ive been doing what my dad suggested and not using 5th gear unless im doing about 45. so when im on most streets.. im doing 40mph at about 1900 rpms. well, ever since then ill go to a stoplight or stop sign and there will be an extremely loud rattling.. then it will eventually go away. when we bought the car the gentleman mentioned something about a bell housing rattling.. but he said he fixed it and that we dont have to worry about it. so could it be a bell housing? (and inform me what that is, if you would be so kind.) or is it something else? on the other hand, i started putting it in 5th which puts me at about 1200 rpms and now there is no rattling.. at all. i dont get it. :dontknow:
