That color is sexy
Just read through the thread. Keep up the good work!
Any new updates?
Thanks! Unfortunately being a poor college student makes buying things for the car difficult. After school starts back in January I plan to lower it and do some suspension work, but nothing extreme. After that I'll probably just start getting new body parts for it and new wheels. I'm really waiting to do anything important till I can swap a PI engine, or something cooler, in it. Priority number one is finding a job to fund the badass daily driver project lol.
Haha I know what you mean. I remember being a poor college student. It sucked but it will get better.
Sounds like a good plan to me. Can't wait to see it lowered and some new wheels! It's going to look really good, not that it doesn't now! What is your end goal with the car?
Thanks so much! haha my goal is to basically just have a really cool, decently reliable daily driver. I want it to look nice and be faster/sound better then the average, stock gt cruising around town. It's pretty much my learning experience, my first car to build up and make my own. When I'm older and have some seriously bad ass car, I wanna have something cool that I can drive to work and not have to guard with a shot gun.
Haha. Well that shouldn't be to hard to achieve. A PI swap would definitely help out or doing a H/C/I swap. Depending on how much money and how far you want to go you could also go forced induction and still stay under 400rwhp which you'd definitely be a lot faster than the average GT ha. But yeah, that's what I'm doing with this Cobra cept it won't be a daily. More of a weekend cruiser. Something that looks amazing, sounds amazing and has a little bit of power for fun.
What are you going to school for? Automotive?
I'm leaning towards swapping the engine since mine already has 350k+ miles on it and it hasn't had the best service life. I am going for auto tech, I actually just finished the semester with a 3.0 GPA. Thats the highest GPA I've ever had lol. I love it and can't wait to work in a performance shop.
Nice that's awesome Liz. It would be cool to have a girl in the shop
I don't see why guy wouldn't want a girl in the shop wrenching on cars with them. Esp if they are good looking.
