This is the car that started it all for me. It's a 90 GT, I bought it 1993 and it has been a pain in the ass ever since. It has went 10.40's at 132 mph. Time to go 9's
Fnsweet! Thats a crazy place to move an alternator too. What have you done to strenthen the body? My Fox is stock and it feels Flemsy, like if it would fold in on itself if it had a lot of power.
Thanks for the kind words everyone! These pics are the new set up. Before, when it ran 10's it was a stock block with a D-1x on it pumping 25 psi. I ran a FAST system with it and only had sub frame connectors on it with a Downs box intake and a gt-40 lower and 2 A-1000 pumps with a Ron Anderson cam in it. It has a turbo 400 tranny in it, with a 4000 stall from Art Carr. Never ever broke the old block. Now I have a built 347 with Scat rot. assem. and a R302 block 0 balanced and a cam motions cam in it. Switched the intake to a super victor and a mega flow pump and put a Wolfe 10 pt cage in it, and mini tubbing it. All braided line, all this shit is adding up too damn fast. My main goal was to get the wheels off the ground, should be able to do it now.
With the old set up it felt like it was floating down the track. Now I'm putting rear coil overs on it, and with the cage I hope it will go straight down the track.
25PSI on a stock block... WOW... i'm making 602RWHP and afraid to push any more with 17psi out of a procharger... thinking about tuning it on 14 psi now...
No intercooler, had an air to air before I ran the car, but I sold it. I was running 10's all day with c-16 fuel and 21 degrees of timing. Inlet temps were a little warm. I want to get an air to water but funds are low after doing all this. I might try a meth setup. i still have to finish up buying some things for my 94. 2 cars = Too broke for this guy.
