Okay... Haven't been on here much or in a while. BUT, any one ever heard of this situation? I have a rebuilt D&D T-45. About 10,000 miles on her. Everything has been great until about a week ago. I was racing a friend and went from 2nd to third (no "power-shift", aka I let off of the acc). The shifter went INTO the third gear position but acted as if though it were in nuetral????? :dontknow:. Scared the shit out of me so I pulled it back out of the third gear position, slowed down and gently shifted back to third. No problem.... goes in gear just fine. It did it one other time the other day. Anyone ever heard of this??? Would changing fluids help??? I should have done the t-56 swap... this will be my 4th T-45 :angry4:
96' Cobra, hooker lt's, jlt cold air, lowered, and 03 cobra wheels.... oh, and b&m ripper shifter. With these mods... I should probably invest in a better trans.
