Theft Light came on and won't go off

Ok car is a 94 GT convertible. I was driving to lunch a couple weeks ago and the theft light came on while driving and didn't go off. I unplugged the battery overnight and when i hooked it back up the light was off. On the way to work it came back on. I have been searching online and went back into the trunk to pop the factory alarm system out. Problem was when i found the blackbox in the back where the keyless entry is there was no factory alarm system attached. Now i know the previous owner had a code alarm installed at Ziebart and all of that and the keyless entry still works as it should. Everything works fine except that stupid theft light stays on. I was thinking maybe there was something wrong in the driver side door pin switch because a couple times if i slammed that door shut the light would go out. Now if i slam it the light only flickers but stays on. I pulled the pin switch out and everything looked fine with it and the wires were all clean. Plus the interior lights work fine when the door is opened or closed. I have no idea where else to look for this and am looking for some tips. Oh i also checked all the fuses since my cruise control is also not working now for some reason ughhhhhhh

Do you have a little pad lock type key under the steering column under the dash? If you do, check that, it maybe loose. Mine would do that on me and I cleaned it and it works fine now. Mine was just the factory antitheft though.
