So i got my pullies changed back to stock yesterday and something looked wrong, but i had no proof and the car drove fine with no problems whatever. Had it on the freeway up to 90mph with the RPM's screaming and no sounds.

The stock 5.0 routing

Here is how the belt was routed after getting the Underdrives removed:

And how it was routed with the under drives installed

Now im wondering just by that picture was it routed wrong or just odd? Could it cause any damage? I blame no-one because i forgot to tell him the routing sticker was missing on my car lol.

there's more than one way to route the belt. As long as everything spins the right way you're good. The routing can increase or decrease the length though. Basically grove side of the belt to the grooves on the pulley and smooth side to smooth side.

Alright, that is good to know. I think im going to replace it today with a gates belt.
My current one doesn't look hot, OR are these cracks you see okay?

Your first pic appears routed wrong to me, it should have more wrap around the water pump pulley I think. Notice none of the diagrams you posted show it routed like that

I agree, I'd route it the proper way because you get a lot more belt on each pulley. The way you have it now looks horrible.

I fixed it yesterday morning. It just looked really silly with the top portion of belt exposed that much next to the hose and A/C line. Its back routed the stock way lol.

From the looks of it his fox body is routed similar to how he did mine. Not exactly, but i guess its beause the sn95 5.0's are a little different compared to the fox body 5.0's. Easy mistake to make when your use to the fox 5.0s.

By the way does everyone use the same stock size belt when going from UPD to Stock pullies. I believe this is a stock size belt i brought when my ALT died and it works with both UPD and stock pullies.
