Those with line lock in here

My line lock quit working on me last night and I assume it had something to do with the switch (though the solenoid might have quit). It was wired to the cruise control off button so I'm going to wire it to a switch since I don't like it being on the cruise control anyway. I'm thinking about buying a little toggle switch like this http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062512

Is there any reason why that wouldn't work? I'm thinking about wiring up a little LED as well so I know when the line lock is activated. Thanks for any tips.

that would work fine.

I had mine wired to a momentary push button switch but flip switches work well too.

The one in my Nova was mounted to a flip switch with a small LED mounted above it.

they sell switched similar, if not exactly the same, with lights built into them already.
