Debating purchasing an accufab throttle body/plenum combo from American muscle. Is it worth it? I have 4.10s bassani o/r x pipe flowmaster cat back cai and a diablo tune. Any thoughts on decent gains and whether or not it's worth the 450$.

I wouldnt buy em new personally. The gains arent worth $450. You can pick them up used for dirt cheap all the time. I picked up my Dragon plenum and Pro Products 75mm TB for $100.

I think its a little high also. But you also get what ya pay for, plus i would and will only buy accufab for now on. Might be on the spendy side, but well with it in quality and as well as reliability!

^ I was doing some research and everyone swears by accufab. I just didn't know if a plenum and tb would b worth any gains on an n/a motor

any 75mm plenum and Tbody combo will do, the flow diff arnt worth the price changes...and nothing porting or polishing couldnt help..but ya, when i had my bolted on 4.6 the 75mm really opened it up in all rpms....i also tried a bbk 78mm 1 piece but it was over kill and lost low end and the gains up end didnt make it worth it at all...

I couldnt tell a big difference with my setup. I guess its because of all the work I did at once though.

its not worth it for that price. Hunt down used ones for sure!

Its also not worth it until you get some heavy mods on there (like full-bolt ons, at least)

at $450.00 you're already halfway to a used supercharger system.... lol.
