I was wondering what different ways/parts will help achieve a better throttle response. I know like a blower and all will definately but do basically most general parts help?

yep, bigger TB and plenum. what people say about them giving you minimal, if any, hp is true, but you can feel throttle response improve. even in my auto matic it helped alot.

i got a Mac 75mm TB, and the matching c&l plenum, and it helped alot.

plenum and TB are pretty much worthless without a tune IMO.

even then...theyre good with a blower

nitrous, heads and cams, gears and other poweradder you will beable to feel along with an aluminum driveshaft.

And with a cammed car, a throttle body and plenum are actually a good mod.

if you want to stay on a budget, get a 75mm Throttle body and matching plennum. wont give you much power, but will increase throttle response noticeably.

if you have a little more money to spend, look into getting lightweight rotating parts. aluminum driveshaft and flywheel (if your car isnt auto) are perfect. gears are also a worthwhile mod, but i wouldnt recomend getting anything higher than 3.55's, but thats just personal choice

if money isnt really a restriction, look into getting some ported heads, or better yet look into increasing the compression ratio. stock PI heads on the stock NPI bottom end increase it from 9.5:1 to about 10.2:1

on my car, i noticed the difference with everything i mentioned above:
t/b, plennum, 3.55's, aluminum driveshaft, aluminum flywheel, and PI heads

you can have mine when I swap in 4.10s in spring, if you ask me the 2.73s are just way too cool for me thats why i have to downgrade to 4.10s

AS far as I know there is no alluminum driveshaft available off the shelf for auto's, and you don't have a flywheel...

What do you mean by "off the shelf"?
Do you mean Ford doesn't make one or it has to be like a "custom" thing?
I know I don't have a flywheel..

I mean, no one, that I know of, has alluminum driveshafts sitting around on the shelf waiting to be bolted in. So it would have to be a custom thing.
