I'll address the bad news first, there IS a issue that has to be fixed but hopefully it will be a easy one. There is a miss that can be felt while driving but should just be a coil / plug / or the connector and that should be fixed within the next few days.
Now on with the good news........
ready for the 5hr trip to Amazon tuning
Strapped down and ready to rock
Yea,........thats a " Wiffle " as my shop owner calls them :tongue3:
this car looked great and is for sale. Its got a mild 302 combo in it...
this is Ricks engine in his project drag car. Hes going for title of fastest eaton powered car in the country, fully built Terminator engine with stage 3 heads and Crowler cams + NOS. I think he'll do it :notworthy:
Had to go quite mild on the tunes because it was making some big power, on the street tune for 93 octane with 13* timing 408rwhp / 458rwtq for those of you NOT familiar with Amazon tuning they use a 2000hp loaded Mustang dyno and when compared to the Dyno Jet yeilds numbers about 12% LESS. So on a dyno jet this run/tune would put down about 463rwhp 520rwtq
Race tune numbers that will have 110 octane to help prevent detonation on the same 13* timing with adjustments to the a/f ratio 456rwhp / 479rwtq dyno jet numbers would equal too about 520rwhp / 545rwtq . Im pushing the stock block pretty stiff on the race tune with those numbers so this is the most that this stock block will get. Built block will come next year about this same time, overall im pretty happy with the turnout. I just wish I didn't have this damn miss in it :crybaby2: Its a minor thing but still eating at me knowing that its there :BangHead:
As soon as the miss is fixed, its off for NEW track times and with luck that 11 second slip :angel4:
