be sure to cover it with a clear but there is no reason it would not work. Duplicolor has another one that is a black candy that would work, metal cast I think is the name.

I have a decal cutter if you want to make something custom for the badge.

what would be the point on your hvac knobs...?

to do something different dummy. jeez.
Everybody leave the billitt knobs silver (natural). I also have the headlight knob and e-brake handle, and mach pedals in billit also.
I was thinking the nightshades would tint the billit without covering it like paint would.
Maybe the candy metal cast paints would be a better choice.

Ive thought about the nightshade on knobs too , but after i thought about it for a bit i realised it would only be a matter of time before it started chipping or wearing and look like chit...

If you do the emblem you should buy a couple extra, I would buy on if they turned out good. I want a flat black on with the chrome "Ford" still showing through

I've seen that on here. It was tinted. Here's what I did to my Ford emblem:

I bought a '5.0' one from UPR. Just had it painted when they repainted my car.

My reasoning for doing that was before my '11, not really the biggest Ford fan! Now, have to love them for what my new one does!!

can't really see the use of painting it completely black myself. Custom is cool but if you are just going to put a black oval up why not just take it off all together?
