I am gonna be using VHT niteshade on my tail lights and I was just wondering what I was going to need to do to make them look glossy once they are finished.

I went to an auto paint supply store when I wanted to get the vht and when I asked for they guys there said it was crap. When I told them what I was doing they recomended a black candy paint and a good quality UV resistant clear. I used them 3 yrs ago on both the headlights and the tails and have not had an issue with them since.

Do you just clear coat them after you tint them?
