Tips for driving manual (and having fun with it)?

I see. Still, I love my auto for many reasons. I honestly wouldny enjoy driving a higher hp manual car in the traffic and bullshit around here everday.

Ive wanted to go manual for a while but just never got around to doing the swap and pretty much got to the point where I dont care.

And regardless of what you think or say, 99% of the time, my auto will RAPE any manual car with comparable power.

Im a damn great powershifter and I bet if me and Justin had the exact same Combo his auto would prolly take me threw the traps by a fender. I've come to be comfortable knowing built autos are faster.

Lol.....not trying to be cocky but he has no chance in fucking hell.

I would be amazed if he even got 11.99, I would also be amazed if people with similar combos were running just a fender behind me haha, because they are usually bus lengths.

Ive seen way too many 400 rwhp mustangs run 12.0-13.0 1/4 miles.

It would take an amazing driver and full slicks, thats for sure.

No offense to handz but I dont think he has any idea how fast 11.35 is at the track....Im not sure if he has ever been down a 1/4 mile either.

That's for sure man I've ran 12.20 bone stock suspension and a 125 shot can't wait to see my new times with hci and full suspension and tubular k member. But I just want to drive my fox now.

Thats pretty good, nitrous cars can def. run good times. Nitrous makes huge torque down low.

But yea, thats about what I would say for handz too...12.5@ 115+- a few tenths.

I have a edelbrock victor jr manifold and a 6061 elbow sitting around waiting to go on in a few days.

T5 or t45 I would still never put it in first gear unless the car is at a complet stop. 2 gear is just fine to speed back up if needed

on the street it's not necessary. but in autocross or some road course situations it may be necessary to do so depending on your gear ratios.

lol rev-matching is second nature to me. Driving a manual sucks in traffic. when your in stop and go for an hour on the freeway never going into 3rd.

my first manual vehicle was a 2000 f350, 5 speed, v8, 4x4. i big heavy, underpowered truck that got 10mpg...... learned some really good clutch control with that thing.
