Tire & Rim fitment ?

I hope to pick up a 2001 cobra svt convertible this week end. Will my 95 cobra R rims 17x9 front and 17x10.5 with 255/40/17 & 315/35/17 nitto 555 tires from my 1995 gt fit the 2001 cobra.

You left out the only part we need to actually give you an accurate answer; the offset.

i'm sure you're fine...even with the irs i think you're good man. most mustang replica wheels work good on any 94-04 from what i've seen. and 315's usually do to sometimes with a little fender lip rolling or a quad shock removed lol

The offset is 28mm (1.10"). Backspacing is 6.8" (174mm)
according to research I've done on line since says the rears will fit with extended IRS bolts
The front with 9" rims may be ify but should go with massaging.
i hope they will fit cause they make my gt vert look great and imagine they would look great on the 2001 cobra vert too.

yea man it'll be good dude. [MENTION=9338]chris91[/MENTION] runs 9.5's up front on his new edge lol. i think even a 275 tire too. are you lowered?

I also run 9.5 with a 275 up front. Also with my IRS I run 9.5 rear with 305 rears. But I got to run spacers to clear the rear IRS brackets.

The fronts will fit no problem. The rears with the IRS and a +28 offset may require a small spacer for clearance like Wichers said.
