Too much lift with p heads???

Hi Guys,

Is there some way to calcualte if i will have too much lift with "P" Heads E303, and Cobra 1.7 RR's on OE bottom end? Thanks, Alex.

clay, and an adjustable push rod. its the only real way to know for sure.

I have yet to hear of anyone having clearance issues with a GT40/GT40P and E Cam setup BUT I would recommend checking anyways. Every motor is different..

are the clearances the same between GT40 and GT40P heads? i ran regular GT40 (cobra) heads on ,y race car with 1.7 rr's and an E303 just fine...

The P heads have larger valves. 1.84 I believe? If you use a 1.6 rr youd be fine more than likely. Theres always the possibility of a problem. Each engine is different no matter how similar they are.

Are you sure? I thought they has identicle In. valves, but smaller exhaust valves.
