Hey yall, I hope this is the right section for this. I'm goin to a 1/8 mile track this weekend with my neighbor, and I am trying to think if there is anythin I need to do to be ready. I know tracks have inspections and I noticed my car doesn't seem to have a battery tie down. I guess I need to go get one and put it on. Is there anything else I should do to prepare for the track. This is my first time goin and I don't want to make a fool of myself lol.

I would say start off with checking your fluids make sure nothing is leaking and everything is full. Clean out your car so you don't have things moving around? I'm sure theres more, but its late lol :sleepy1:

go to your local tracks web site and check what the rules and regulations are for that nights racing.

Only if you run slicks and the track is under NHRA guidelines.

nooooooooooooooooooo Ihra is different from Nhra

Duh really? They are both class's of racing, those who go by those standards will have to have a DS loop for slicks

I wasn't wrong I only said NHRA when it also included IRHA but it does not matter which rules a track falls under, either one you are going to have to run a DS loop w/ slicks no matter how different those two are they still have the same rules regarding slicks and DS loops
