well...last night i took my BONESTOCK AUTO GT to the track to baseline it before the modding begins....I have to say that this is the slowest car that ive ever owned..lol

60 ft......2.45
330 ft.....6.95
1/8 ET....10.60
1/8 MPH..67.01
1/4 ET....16.47
1/4 MPH..83.97

to say the least this is pathetic..but i love my car cause its payed off and the mods are endless

this was 0 mods and my cats are clogged and i have a small exhaust leak from the passanger side header.

MODS that i have and will be installing soon are...

Vortech SQ V2
38lb injectors
80pro-m
255lph pump
bbk shorty headers
o/r x pipe

i want to change my intake, any suggestions...cobra..gt40..holley?????

the heads and cam are going to remain there for a while, but i will upgrade to 1.7 rr and better valve springs.

The most important question that i have is what stall and gear should i choose for the combo??

my goal is to be between 380rwhp-400rwhp with blower, supporting mods, intake and tune. Is this achieavable??

tany suggestions is apreciated..thanks

i would highly recommend changing the heads, cam and intake prior to the blower install. a n/a 302 can make anywhere
in the 300hp area, add a blower and, depending on boost levels, 400-500hp. with just the blower on an essentially stock
motor, it would be a matter of time before you would want better flow through the stock, restrictive heads.. just my opinion.

Holy Sh**, I'll skip taking mine to the track for a baseline lol! Although it's not quite stock, it's close enough. If you already have the funds for a blower, I'd go ahead and do that first. H/C/I can come later when you get the money, but remember you will have to adjust the tune.

yes that horsepower is achievable with just a blower but it would be alot easier on the entire motor if you did h/c/i, and ur car should run atleast a 15.0...i had this problem, i ran a 16.3 the first time out, all i did was clean the maf, and set the timing up correct and now i ran a 14.2 with just an o/r x-pipe, cai, and dr's.
