Less loss of rwhp due to tranny - net more hp at the rear wheels
Cheaper to fix/replace if any problems (never have)
Shift into and keep in the gear YOU want the car to be in
Not quicker ETs at lower (closer to stock) power levels
Auto doesn't Launch better without Stall
Manuals are less consistant in the 1/4, but I see that as a (good) challenge
5 gears compared to 4 in the auto means less drop off between gear shifts
manual trannies weigh less than autos
