Trailblazer SS?

Out of curiousity, how well does a stock 94 gt hold up to i think 2008 trailblazer SS? I was driving home from my friends house(going the speed limit for once) and driving normally and some black POS chev blows beside me, so I downshifted to show him to screw off, but I dont race often in city limits so I backed off once I hit 60mph. Turning on to the ring road(highway stretch through my city) Im accelerating to speed and this asshole floors it and cut me right off, 3 inches infront of my bumper, while im making my way to 110kph for normal cruising speed. Thing is, that thing sounded deadly when it went to pass, Curious as to what it really has...

yea...they can be awd or rwd

They generally can run low 14s/high 13s

You would have been embarrased in the gt without some work.

i love em ...they are nice and sound great ....perfect for someone who wants a good family vehicle thats got power....

and corvettes are completely gay so putting the power plant in something else is a good thing to me

Sweet jesus! Thats faster than my cousins 83 mustang gt with a 383 stroker! That would be the best SUV to have to show up those riced out civics in my city

imho....chevy cant compete with other manufacturers...thats why the put the vette series engines in every car they have think about it...thats what ta's and camaros had to beat the 5.0 when the 305's and regular 350's would run with a v6 mustang....then the gtos have the ls2 , trailblazer have the ls6, trucks have ls2, think about it...thats the only reason there fast....they are still garbage in my eyes cause a gmc and a chevy truck is the same damn think with different badges and colors....anyone could do what gm does....build one engine family and put it in every car they make.....thats why i cant wait to get my car done so i can blow that new vette out of the water on pump gas n/a big cubes....then say....dude....and you paid 80k for that ....i got 15k in mine...owell enough of General Mistake for me.....(gm)...i could go for days...

Its called parts interchangability. It makes sense in every aspect. Thats what makes it EASY for hot rodders. Its a smart business move and makes it cake for us as car guys. You don't have to learn something over again EVERYTIME a new motor comes out. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. "The only reason they are fast." haha....point is, they're still fast. Don't think for a second you can't take $15k cash and pick up a used ls-x based car and throw a few mods on it and it will give most street cars fits...

There is a guy in my area with one, i think its an LS2 and has a huge ass Whipple on it. Supposed to be @800awhp... I've seen and heard it drive by me and it sounds insane but i haven't seen it race yet.
