TT 200zx vs. me

i raced a twin turbo 200zx last night at 50 roll and i lost by front bumper going into 4th i have whats in my sig. you think thats good or what im not to sure about these 200zx

I've never seen a twin turbo 4 cylinder, but if youre stock that's not bad. I ts hard to keep up with those turbo cars when you have no bolt-ons.

Oh, I didn't take the time to read your sig. With all your mods I don't think you should have lost. But you didn't say if he was running 5 lbs or 25 lbs.

yea true i think he's runnin pretty high boost nd i was about to pass him when we were giong into 4th so idk i would have probly one but it dont matter getting vt cams in and 4.10's

was it like a newer one or the old ass ones?

4 cylinder of 6?

the 4 cylinder ws like 99 hp in 88 haha so I really dont see that thing handling any boost or actuall being fast

the 95-98 or w/e had a 2.0l se-r with 140 hp...but again....unless he was running a good amount of boost the thing was probably still slow

Dude its single turbo not twin turbo :rollinglaugh:.. all them nissan guys do the sr20 det turbo 2.0 liter swap which is like 200-300 horsepower easily on a small turbo. and ther 2000lb cars, and with bigger turbo or more work ur talking 400+ hp, so he was prob running low boost. :thumb: :dunno: otherwise he would of been uttahere: on u .


or ur talking about a 300zx twin turbo which out of box factory stock was 200hp n/a and 300hp twin turbo stock, pretty much like a supra.

I dont think so...if it was sr20 turbo he would have boosted away from his npi stang like it was standing still haha.

come on again...tt 300zx would roll away from him.

The older 300z were not that fast. I beat them at the track all the time. I knew the 200 couldn't have a twin turbo but I didn't want to sound like mr knowitall. Honestly I haven't seen a 200 with a turbo yet. I've only seen 240's and 300's.

with a good drive theyre capable of 13s stock...boost controller, exhaust and they can be in the 12s

dude..theyre stock Twin turbo rated at 300 hp...theyve got to be somewhat fast

fast enough for you to need a full PI swap, gears,+ bolt ons to keep up.

Thats stock for them...any little mods they do give them a shit load of power cause theyre turbo

the older 300z should be 13 second cars stock if theyre tt and easily in the 12s with some bolt ons, up the boost a little.

I'm talking about the 1990 models. They only have a single turbo. The ones I've run against are mainly stock. Don't you just hate itwhen you're high and you don't even know it?
