Ok, I have a 95 GT, stock except for..

MSD Coil
ACCEL wires
MSD cap and rotor.

every once in a while, while riding down the road, the car will die like I reached up and turned the key off. It only lasts for about a full second, then its fine again. ???? anyone know what could be up?

And, after it sits for a while... could be hot or cold.. like overnight or 15 mins... the car acts up. its like its firing on all 8s, but it revs REALLY slow. if you pin it to the floor, it takes off. and the car bucks and jumps. ??? any ideas?

thanks in advance fellas.

When's the last time you replaced your plugs and your fuel filter? Any water in the engine bay?

will should check your tps. A TPS out of adjustment is a hessitation in acceleration, and/or a coughing at full accleration.
For it to turn off... like it actually shut off? Or it felt as if it did? there is a bundle of 4 wires that sometimes get smoked on the drivers side from header heat. Check to ensure those are still together. had a customers truck last week that smoked her entire bundle.

My wife's '08 Escape exibited these symptoms. Being under warranty, it went to Ford. MAF sensor went down. Replaced "free of charge".
