Yes. but 96-00 and mid 01-04 are different because of a long waterpump pully on 96-00 and short one on mid 01-04

Also everyone recommends to go with steeda. Every other companys are piggybacks that are not tested through Ford like steedas where.

I am trying a set from UPR though for half the price. See what happens.

Please don't put underdrive pulllies on your 4v. They don't do much and end up hurting your engine more than helping it. Search it on SVT performance and you'll see.

good point also. There are a lot better ways to mod a 4 valve than UDP's.

There are a set of 4.30 gears in the "couple things for sale" classifieds section for 75 bucks. You want bang for the buck look no further.

I was a little worried about u/d's, my brother had a 5.0 that had charging issues. Are these the issues I could expect?

They are ok for push rod motors. I had them on my 5.8 Lightning and had to get an optima to keep up. They make power out of a pushrod but MAYBE 5-10 RWHP out of a modular. Not worth the potential risks. If you don't have gears get some.

Like what? I've been having trouble with this one. Allz i can find (for the engine) is CAI, TB, pulleys, and ignition before i drop like $1200 on cams or even more than that on an intake manifold

I just invested in the JLT intake, Longtube headers, x-pipe, and catback. $900 shipped to my door.

Yeah Full exhaust/gears are very high on the bang for the buck with 4v's. Switch. Get it professionally tuned and make those LT's come to life. Don't cheap out on a can tune.

i guess i should have said i have a full custom exhaust.
1.75" headers which i believe to be equal length, 3.5" true duals, flowmaster mufflers, and dumps. you can liturally hear it for miles when i bounce on it.
a t56 and a set of 3.73s is on its way, so im pretty set on exhaust and gears. i guess thats why i want to improve the engine.
Maybe one day i'll have stupid amounts of money to throw at the car, but right now im aiming for 12s with No set limit on cost, but within reason

UDP's wont do it. Buy some slicks and you should be in the 12's.
