Thanks guys.. Yeah the fox intake will rob me for now but I'm now set up to use any after market design I choose.. It was just to get it running for the move last week..

The wheels weigh in the 14-15 lb area I believe they feel pretty damn light I know that.. Total shipping weight on both wheels boxed was 32lbs..

And yeah I'm really going to love these I can feel it already!

Ok well it's time for a small update I guess lol.. Got the rest of the interior out to lighten it up more and to scrape the crest of the sound deadening material out

I also wanted a true racing seat soo.. I checked out Craigslist and found this beauty absolutely free to a good home.. But has an odd set of Camaro sliders but they are functional..

Well I decided to keep my factory seat mount points because of the subframe connector seat brackets, but my oem seat brackets were trashed soo.. Off to the fab work I go..

First off I know straight steel won't work because the seat mounting points on the jegs seat compared to the oem seat mounts are a few inches off..
So I picked up a piece of strip steel from lowes.. 12.97

Cut it in half so I have 2 1.5 ft sections ..
Then I drill a 7/16 hole offset but enough to have at least a 1/4 inch of steel still left on the outer bracket side for strength but also about an inch of material on the seat stop end.

Then I test fit it to there to make sure there are no points to get scraped or cut on the front and side edges, also to see where my bend needs to go for the rear mount

This is where I am now because of the kiddies needing baths etc.. But I'll continue and finish both sides to this point then update when I bend the backs and build the braces for strength overall..

I then test fit it on the first floor mount

Ok got the seat bracket done for the driver side..

After you cut your two flat 3/16 strips
Get a 3 ft section of 3/4 square tubing.. This will be part of the seat bracket that will weld from the seat to the straps, also this will be your rear support on your straps..

Ok first off measure your strap to angled floor height and take the ange into huge concideration.. Then cut your two sections of 3/4 square tubing as so..

Check for fitment, then get a super small section of predrilled 12g angle iron, lowes just cut them from scrap and gave them to me.

after that creat you mounting bracket to be welded to your strap..

Shitty weld but I'm out of gas, so I had some spare flux handy it'll do just fine just not be as pretty..

Then tack weld your brackets to the strap(IN CAR if not they may not line up..)
Here they are cooling and final welded after removal..

While they are cooling cut 2-12" sections of the square tubing and creat your seat mounts, I opted to use the Camaro sliders even though nothing lined up.. That's what the welders for..
Line them up and measure, measure, measure.. Lol tack weld them into place and re measure, after all is good final weld..

Now that the straps are cool test fit..

Now test fit with the seat assy..

Once you find you desired position( everyone is different , then either tack weld them into place or you can mark them and drill them, I of course decided to weld..
.. After welding check fitment again,
If your happy with the height and position then throw some paint on it and call it a day

Reinstall

Them drink a few beers, and do it again for the pass side,

In total all the steel and supplies were 21.76$ I'm cheap I know..
