US Soldier's paint thred (updtae 11/o7) CAR IS DONE!!!!! "kinda"

Well i started my work today. all i did was just the tear down the car. it only took me about 2 1/2 hours to tear it down all the way. i will start my body work soon.

Looks like you'll make sure its done right. I'm sure you already noticed this, but try to take care of that surface rust on the bottom of the rad support.


Can't wait to see it finished!!!

I have that same bump (cancer) on my right above my rear fenderwell. What are you/or having done to fix it. I was wondering what would have to be done to fix it.

im just going to sand it first see far down the rust goes. if its not to bad im going to use filler but if its bad im going to make a patch panel for it. i should have more pics in about two days...

well guys you will all just have to wait and see what the car looks like when it comes out of paint. i have some plans for this baby.

body work is fun to me but i hate filler i like to use patch panels to fix rust. but well see how bad it is. this car was in reck like 6 years ago and the shop that fixed it did a bad job. so i have some work ahead of me..
