I purchased a used front part of a bassani catback and had them welded in about 2 weeks ago. I heard some "buzzing" during normal driving and increasing sound inside since then. I brought the stang back to the muffler shop and basically they showed me that they are coming apart in the front and rear causing the issue, so that didn't work out and have to replace them. Shop said likely they were much older than advertised. Looking at options and opinions on replacement.

I do like the sound of bassani, but they don't offer replacement mufflers in SS, only aluminized and can't see putting on aluminized here in the N.E., been down that road I could always get the old FRPP mufflers welded back in to the catback. Cost of the SS bassani is too much for the wallet. Anyone try Steeda SS mufflers (manufactured by borla) made for SN95s? Are they 2.5" offset inlet/outlet?

Thanks!
