Hey all,

Well I just ordered my CRX Intercooler of e-bay. Whole kit with ship $302. I only have a couple odds and ends
and I can install that pig! I'm really getting antsy about this, very cool. I got an estimate of $1500 for some purple tanslucent flames.
It's a black car, and with the chrome bullits, It's gonna be a badass. I'm kinda old school, I wont "pretty" up the ride until the
performance mods are done. It's taken a while, but it's getting done!

nice man, what other mods you have done? You pulleying down/powerpiping to make up for the loss of boost from the i/c?

I'm going with a 3.6 pulley and an Anderson powerpipe came with the kit. How much boost does an intercooler eat? Is that loss
offset with the denser charge?

I've also decided against cams, But will do shorty headers, catted x, cat back, PI intake and 75mm TB/Plenum. I have 3.73s' and will
most likely install them as well. I figure with a good tune I'll be around 350-360 at the wheels.

that is probably a pretty good estimate as to where you will be. I would not waste your time with shortys, go with longtubes, especially with the blower. You will see way mroe significant gains. The intercooler produces a cooler charge, and normally a good 2-3 psi drop can occur. I run a Vortech SQ trim, paxton a/a, vortech mini race bpv, and a 3.12 pulley and I see about 12psi.
