vacuum problem

i was cleaning my engine a little bit yesterday and as a grabbed a hold of the upper right hand corner of the intake manifold i felt the rag get stuck so i looked at it closer and noticed this :crybaby2:

then i looked around and also saw this

what i want to know is does a local auto parts store usually carry the broken L thing and where does the line go connected to? sorry for the bad pictures i still need a camera not camera phone :violent1: any help is greatly appreciated

if a parts store doesn't carry it take the old one to home depot, lowes or an ace and see if they have a brass fitting that will work.

the 302 has been rebuilt but i personally did not rebuild it
and what would i call that part of do i just take it off and take it to a local suto parts store?

I may be having a tard moment but I can't really tell what that is from the pics so I would say take it to the parts house......since it's already halfway off. good luck and let me know what it ends up being if you can.

i think the small line goes in to the fire wall on the passenger side. If I'm corrected it goes to your ac. Is your ac stuck on defrost or on the floor, if so then i think it leads to the door actuator.

the a/c works great and i noticed that if i clog the big gap it while stop making a whistle like noise

Just take the fitting out and go to lowes or home depot. Its all standard pipe thread stuff. Get a barbed fitting and whatever t fittings you need to hook ALL vaccum lines back up to the intake. It doesn't have to be the same L-shaped fitting the factory put on there....as long as ALL lines are hooked up you'll be fine.
