I run the tall valve covers aswell, with a one inch spacer, what I did was pulle the tb and iac off and just used a grinder and cut off that bottom corner, enough for it to fit and still use a bolt... No issues

It's said that fox valve covers fit rollers and alternator with minor grinding if any. No personal experience. I have tall moroso covers and they are way too much effort to make work for me what with grinding the IAC

I run a set of tall covers with a fox setup and no elbow.I have a 1 inch spacer on a Holley systemax and my trouble was with it hitting the rear of the although.I had to end up grinding it down some.
