If you are currently using it then you must have one

Did you check the drivers side qtr panel (not the trunk but where the speaker is?) or the module could be located behind the drivers side trunk panel close to the fuel cutoff switch.

Why do you need the module anyway? If you are just adding a new remote you don't need access to it at all to program. Just do this:

Step 1
Close all of the doors and windows on your Mustang and close the trunk.

Step 2
Enter your car with your keyless remote that needs to be reset and put your car key into the ignition of the car.

Step 3
Press and hold the lock button on your keyless remote.

Step 4
Cycle the key in the ignition from the "Off" position two clicks to the right to the "On" position, while holding the lock button on your remote still.

Step 5
Cycle the lock eight times total (or seven more times after the first cycle) while still holding the lock button. Once you have finished the key should be in the "Off" position and the car's locks with trigger twice.

Step 6
Press and hold the lock button on your remote until the car's locks respond, and your remote will be reset, programmed and ready for use.

This is assuming you have just the keyless and not the alarm. If you have the alarm I have programming info for that somewhere, just let me know

the "8 key turn" process only works on 99-present.

94-98 need to access the jumper connector in the trunk

edit: also, when i was junkyard hopping, i found a 98 V6 convertible and the keyless entry module was in the trunk like the coupes

you dont even have this black mounting bracket? the keyless module is actually behind this, there will only be a box on the front if you also have a factory Anti-theft in addition to the factory keyless. keyless and anti-theft are not the same

this was off my old 98 v6, it had Keyless entry with no anti-theft, hence no box in front but the keyless module was behind this bracket

Well thanks for all the input I have the anti theft and keyless cause I'm currently using it but my remote is all broken. And there was no box in the truck. Go figure

Do you have the two button remote (both soft black) or the 4 button?

Let me know (and a pic if you could) and I can get you the correct program info

The keyless theft module thingy(with the jumpers on it) was located where Atlantic said on my 96GT when I needed to add another remote..

I wonder if someone installed an aftermarket keyless entry module in the OP's car?

So your remote looks like this?

If so you will have a tiny switch on your drivers kick panel (mine had no button head so i had to psh it with a paper clip) that is used for programming remotes

Is that the one you have? If so I will get you full programming info
