Turned out alright. If your do this, BE very VERY careful. You only get one shot! Make it count. Make sure you tape everything off as tight aroun the edges as possible, the paint will run. I wouldn't exceed more then one coat, thats what I did. I had to touch up some white paint around the lenses.

Man that looks sick. I've heard it runs really easily, i believe you're supposed to do multiple light coats, not just 1 heavy coat.

yea I taped the crap out of it. i learned from the first one and did the 2nd near perfect.... having a white car and scotch tape thats near white it was hard to see the lines. But so far it looks good. I went over each one about 5 sprays and I prepped them good before hand. I hope it still looks good in the long run. I kept it a little light just so the cops wont bug me. I also advise going a little easier where that reverse light is.

That looks sick. I want to do that with mine soon. But when I do, I'll have to get smoked headlights... and then black wheels... and soon I will be in debt to my eyeballs.

You two did a good job. As much as i hate VHT and the business it takes away from me, it helped me get started in tinting and colormatching tails.

The only downside i have found with VHT is you have to be VERY patient, Its not made to clear over (most people do) If you do rattle can clear it you really cant wetsand. If you leave them without clear coat eventually it will ware off.

Just keep a spare can handy. In a year or so scuff em up and shoot em they will look great.
