vinyl pinstripe line removal?

is it possible to remove the accent stripe that runs the length of the car without hurting the paint, it seems like it may just be a vinyl pinstripe from the factory? any ideas thanks

yes,
I know you can buff that stuff off with an orbital and a good compound but I haven't tried it.

watch out on corners and raised ridges. it will burn right through the paint with too much pressure in one spot.

yea it has a random tan pin stripe running the length of the car and looks really outta place, just wasnt sure if maybe there was an adhesive removal compound or something

I took the stupid pinstripe off my Brother car. Its just vinyl so pull it off slowly and clean the sticker marks off with some polish.

thinks, yea that pinstripe looks dumb, espcially on my white car it sticks out like a sore thumb

3m make a thing that fits in a drill. It's a eraser for stripes. I think you can get it at napa

DO NOT use this on the paint of your car. It WAY to much for what he needs. the stripe should pull off by hand and wipe clean with some light polish.
