I recently just bought a V2 Mongoose kit, and because i have a 1997, the kit came without a fuel pump. I emailed Tim and Rhonda and they told me I should go with a 255lph Walbro Intank fuel pump...so i bought one of them. I was just wondering if anybody knows how much horsepower these support up to?? Thanks...because I'm planning on making close to 385-400rwhp and was wondering if that pump will be fine for that much hp...thanks

I heard it would just fine u to around 400 when I was setting up my car. I put a T-rex in also, just cause I wanted to be safe. AND I like the loud ass hum...lol

i think its more of the fact that they dont choose to get it...but that vortech sells it directly from their site and they include it in their kit...ive heard bad things about the t rex

Im not really sure. I know its what comes with a vortec supercharger. So I figured along with my 255, I would be safe on fuel. Rather be overkill for my HP than to not have enough.
