weeeellllllpppppp... my car isn't running

idk whats up. i start the car and it can't idle worth anything.. it will start up, drop to like 200, stumble then die. after a bit, it will start idling fine but it feels like its missing. when i come to stops with the car still in gear and the clutch pressed down, the car will die, or almost die.. also, i was in 2nd gear and i kinda got on it to see what was up and the car just wouldn't go.. it hesitated, stumbled, bogged.. everything. car wouldn't go any faster, well it did but it was jerky as hell.

i changed the IAC valve with one off the other motor and it didnt do anything. then i replaced that tube that goes across the front of the upper intake and that FIXED it for like 5 minutes... so then i turned the car off and restarted it and it did it all over again.

anybody got any ideas? i already changed my idle settings with the XCAL2 to both 900 rpms on the idle in Drive and idle in Neutral....

maybe someone can answer this.. i realllllly hope this is the problem. my tuner said it is so im gonna try it but i was wonderin what yall thought..

i just replaced the TPS like 2 months ago and my tuner said its already bad. in the Live Link software, i did TP ABSOLUTE (trottle position absolute) and the voltage or number or w/e never fluctuated even when i gave it gas...

so he said the TPS is bad. so im going to autozone like right now if my gf will take me and hopefully that will fix it. :thumb:

I would say its the TPS.

Change the TPS and Do a Seafoam.

Is the car throwing any CELs?

I was about to say the same thing about the TPS. They are really cheap and an easy fix. Hopefully thats it.

yeah its not the TPS..

i just replaced it and its still doing it. my battery seems pretty low so im putting a charge on it but i dont think thats the problem. maybe ill switch the MAF sensor from the other motor into my car and try it out..

what have you done to it in the past week or so? anything at all. like getting gas or popping the hood at all?

maybe it is poo poo gas.. how can i drain the gas out??

and i haven't done anything to it.

would the car run crappy at higher RPMs though if it was poopy gas? i mean i drove the car like 50 miles right after i got gas.. got to where i was going. sat for a day then started up the car and it drove fine.. came back.. sat for a day then it started acting up ever since.

get a siphon and siphon out some gas and see what color it is. If its crap gas you will have to change the fule filter atleast twice to get most of it out. then use some dry gas and some injector cleaner.

I had a similar experience with a different car... it needed a new belt and a fuel pump. I said it was the fuel pump, the mechanic tested everything else before the pump, and then decided I was right. You could look into that.

this blows my family just went out of town for two weeks so its really hard for me to do this kind of troubleshooting by myself because my dad knows a lot more about trouble shooting things than i do..

im supposed to take it to my tuners shop tomorrow but its about a 30 minute drive in stop light traffic so i dont know how I can possibly get it there. so it looks like my car will sit for two weeks.

my car isn't throwing any codes out. i hate my car right now. fucking gayest shit in the world. you treat them like queens and they treat you like ass back. :nonono:
