Weld Draglite wheel fitment

I'm looking for lighter wheels for my '94. I've read that 15x10 Weld Drag Lites require spacers and caliper grinding when using the stock rear brakes. Is this true? Are long wheel studs needed?

I'm looking for a 15x10 that weighs 15lbs or less that bolts right up with no mods.

are you planning on running 15 fronts
widest you can do is 15 x 3 1/4
and 15 x 10 should fit good brake calipers is smaller on the rear
as far as wheel studs you should be good no spacer

On my 05 gt I have 15 x 3 on the front
15 x 10 on the rear pro star almost the same

03 mach 1 same set up

I believe the brakes are different on those cars so I'm not sure about caliper clearance on my car. Hopefully someone will pop in and verify.

No joke, if you know what you need for backspacing, take a look at Alibaba. There are some great deals on there and they will make you the wheel you need, if you can't find one.
I bought a FlowFormed set of wheels for my Cadillac. They are lighter than the OEM Caddy wheels, and really nice quality.
Chat with them and someone will get you taken care of for sure.
I paid under $600 shipped.

I had draglites on an SN95 back in the day- it was literally the most minimal amount of grinding on the back and that was only because I had new brake pads--- with worn pads youll have more clearance!

Come to think about it
On my mach 1 I have the front drag light
In 15 and 17 x 3.5
I could not fit the 15x10 on the rear

But they did work on my 95gt
I did not grind anything
But drag lights do work on 94 up sn

The 05 up the shock brackets get a a little trimming with a kit to make the 10 work

Thanks guys! People were saying the fronts needed spacers and longer studs. I couldn't see the purpose of a lightweight wheel when I'd have to add weight with spacers. As always, you can't believe everything you read.
The Draglites are a good bang for the buck. 15x10 wheels are around 15lbs.

Were the rears 15x10 with 6.5" backspacing?
