Went to High School Challenge Yesterday

so I was supposed to take my car to this thing to show some kids up from school and this week i was doing cams and i had a bent valve so i couldnt take it so instead i was going to say my friends car was mine but he was driving well that didnt work i had to drive this Z24 Cavalier for him never drove it before and ran a 15.4 felt like i was a turtle

I know I can beat him cause her car would probably run mid to high 15s and his best 1/4 is like 15.7

I know I can beat him cause her car would probably run mid to high 15s and his best 1/4 is like 15.7

Thats funny because a friend of mine had a 03 or 04 Z24 Cavi with full exhaust (header-back) and a CAI, and couldn't get out of the 17s. Put on either a 50 or 75 (forget which) ColdFusion nitrous kit and ran mid-low 15s for a few passes. Developed rod knock a few weeks shortly after.

This was an auto car. Our race track (Bristol's thunder valley) is slightly uphill, high altitude, and we NEVER have good weather when its open for the street cars. Cavi's are a joke though.

Ok...my point is even a newer auto 2.2 cavi is just as fast if not faster than stock/near stock 99-04 auto v6 mustangs atleast...and faster than 94-98 auto or 5 speed v6 stangs

the 5 speed 99-04s should be faster but barely IMO

the Z24 cavis are as fast/faster than like every v6er and might even keep up with stock 94-98 gt autos
