Well My best run of the night was a 9.62 with 2.2 60ft. I trapped 74mph on that run. my 60 ft's where killing me. My nitto DR's did not hook at all. Tryed messing with the tire pressure and everything. I ran better last year on street tires.(1.9 60ft with a 9.37). I left the track and hammered it and hooked fine? I'm thinking the track was greasy. Anybody have any input?

My nittos are pretty worn too. Im thinking im gonna go with some Mickey Thomsons next on some diffrent rims. The nittos dont hook that great but they last longer.

Those 4.10s are slowing ya down :hammer:

JK...

For comparison sake my 96 gt with comparable mods...mac l/t, 3.73s, PI intake, tuned with tb plenum ran 9.16 at 78.5 mph with a 2.22 60 foot

best 1/8 is like 9.0 with a 2.09 60 on street tires at 78 mph....the slower run was a lot better night, just couldnt hook at all.

Yeah Are cars a pretty close to the same as far as mods. I think If I didn't have traction problems I would of seen 9.1's or 9.2's. I completely gutted my trunk and took the back seat out. So It's a lot lighter than it was the last time I ran. Some sticky Mickeys should do the trick next time.

Taking the back seat out and gutting your trunk is your problem. My car wouldn't hook worth a shit when I did that. When my trunk was gutted and seats were in it, my best time was like 9.31 at like 77 (look in my profile for exact details), and that is pretty much stock besides springs, X pipe, and BBK CAI. Once I gutted it, my best time was like a 9.51 because I spun the entire way down the track.

Yeah my sway bar has been removed, but I have the stock control arms. Mickeys+control arms+strange adjustables, and the battery mounted in the trunk should hook good.
