Went to the track last night

Went out to the strip last night, ran a best of 14.4 @ 97.4 with a 2.2 60'. i definately want to get into the 13s pretty quick. As it stands, im launching the car at 2500 RPM. Should I get new tires? Do some more bolt ons? Im on a limited budget so forced induction isn't in my price range. Mods are in my sig. Any input is appreciated.

Gears....I would do 3:73's

i was thinking of gears, but its a daily driver car so i wouldnt want to go too high. I know if i moved up to something like 4.10's or so i could drop alot of time, but gas mileage would get owned.

3:73's will be fine... I dont think ou would lose much mileage, if any.

14.4 isnt bad considering the weight and its auto, and doesnt have any real power mods. id save get some 373's or do a h/c/i swap. you said money is tight... get some drag radials

2000 mustang gt vs 1994 mustang gt race 2 here is the video, wasn't the best pass of the night for either car but it was fun running them against each other. 2000 gt went 14.5 @ 96.4 with a 2.2 60' 1994 gt went 15.9 @ 89.1 wit ha 2.3 60'
